The Director General of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), Brigadier General Olakunle Oluseye Nafiu, has announced that beginning March 2025, Corps Members will get a monthly allowance of ₦77,000.
During a conversation on Thursday at the NYSC Zonal Offices in Wuse and Garki, Abuja, Brigadier General Nafiu addressed concerns over the allowance increase’s delayed implementation.

He informed Corps Members that the payment would go as anticipated.

“Beginning in March, your monthly allowance will be seventy-seven thousand Naira. NYSC’s record-keeping is efficient, and I guarantee that your payments will be processed. The nation and the Scheme are grateful to you.”
